Party & Corporate Event Pricing

Introduction


Uncharted Realities specializes in parties and group events, creating an atmosphere of fun, community, competition and cooperation. With a smartly-designed 3,000 square foot layout, we have combined eight VR play spaces with social-friendly lounge areas and collaborative setups. We can service up to 50 people at our venue. If you have more attendees, see our section on mobile solutions. For planners creating a full-fledged outing for their group, we are happy to assist in securing and setting up tables, chairs, linens, decor, catering, etc. If alcohol is planned, we recommend BYOB as we do not sell or distribute at this time. We do have snacks and refreshments onsite for purchase. We provide over 200 different experiences, both single player and multi-player, allowing for endless combinations of solo, cooperative or competitive arrangements. We also have experiences that are shared co-op experiences, in which one person is in the headset and onlookers are helping them to complete an activity by actively communicating. We regularly consult with event planners to optimize the group’s visit, themes and end goals. Small parties generally will plan for 1 to 2 hours of VR activity. Larger parties above 15 players are asked to consider (but are not required to complete) booking 2 hours or more. We highly suggest you plan to stay for an extra 15-20 minutes, as time will be needed to process all the players - review rules and logistics of our space, discuss the technology and highlight the experiences. This does not count toward purchased play time.




Pricing for groups 6-14 people (VR activity only)


We offer a 10% discount off of our basic pricing for groups of this size whether it is a birthday group or a corporate team event. A minimum of 1 hour is required along with a reservation 48 hours or more in advance of the desired date. Groups in this category only intend on playing VR. If you need to use our lounge area or need us to provide more services, check out the Private Party Packages section below. When there are more than 8 players, the visit is considered fully private and you may use the entire space for your needs. We setup a hybrid solution of both fixed single player experiences that everyone can try out (and they're relatively short, so there is good rotation) along with one or two multiplayer offerings that focus on cooperation, collaboration, and/or a good mix of competitiveness.




Pricing for groups of 15 or more


For groups of 15+, a 2-hour minimum is required, although we support 3 or more hours of engagement too. A further discounted “party” rate is used and a formal quotation is provided once player count, length of stay, and other amenities are determined. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to hold the date during reservation. Under special circumstances, we do allow for 1 hour engagements - if two hours are not feasible for the group. As a result - for one hour visits of groups this size - we charge an administration fee of $100 to cover the extra time spent outside of the one hour play time. The fee is waived for two or more hours of booked VR time. We are happy to assist you in setting up tables and chairs, decorating, etc. For alcohol, we generally recommend BYOB as we do not sell or distribute at this time. We do have snacks and refreshments onsite as well for purchase. Groups have normally been responsible for bringing in food or arranging for catering, but we are happy to assist with this procurement process with a surcharge. Call for more details. Any pre-payments provided for the event (not including the deposit) can be refunded in full if you cancel more than 72 hours before your event. Within 72 hours of the event, we will only refund 50% of those payments (not including the deposit). You are welcome to reschedule your event provided that happens before 72 hours of the event as well.




Private party packages 6-14 people (VR activity and party setup)


We offer a 10% discount off of our basic pricing for groups of this size whether it is a personal celebration or a team event. A minimum of 1 hour is required and the groups should plan on an extra 15 minutes for processing and tech/experience reviews. If there are 8 people or less, then each person would be able to have their own play space complete with VR tech and the library of experiences/games. If there are more than 8 attendees, we have a process for setting up a few fixed experiences that allow for a good rotation of everyone along with a multi-player experience that can be shared by waves of people (we normally give them 15-20 minutes before rotating). We work with the group on their interests (with the VIP carrying the most weight!). Parents of minors normally provide us guidelines on what they feel may be off limits (horror, gore, realistic killing, etc). We have plenty of age-appropriate content we leverage to support this framework. We are happy to assist you in setting up tables and chairs, decorating, etc. For alcohol, we generally recommend BYOB as we do not sell or distribute at this time. We do have snacks and refreshments onsite as well for purchase. Groups have normally been responsible for bringing in food or arranging for catering, but we are happy to assist with this procurement process with a surcharge. Call for more details. A reservation for the date, time and length of stay is required along with a $75 deposit that is applied to your total bill. There is a cancellation/no show policy, such that if you do not cancel before 48 hours of the date and/or are a no-show, the deposit is forfeited. You are also welcome to reschedule your event provided that happens before 48 hours of the event as well.




Mobile Solution - Large Events and Outside Venues


Our tiered pricing strategy takes a few things into consideration. There are economies of scale built in, to provide discounting for more booths and more hours. We look at: 1. Number of booths requested (4-6 supported at this time). 2. Number of hours requested of active VR time. 3. Number of persons to be served. 4. Miscellaneous such as travel, venue limitations, location, etc. We select experiences that are impactful, but rather quick, so we can serve the most people without removing the quality or the awe of the experience. When planning, keep in mind that the rule of thumb is each VR booth can cycle 7-10 people per hour. Naturally, not all attendees will be interested in trying VR, so we try to size our solution to accommodate 60-75% of attendees unless otherwise directed. Example, for 150 people, a solution for 100 people would be about 12 "booth-hours". We generally need 1 hour pre-party to setup and 1/2 hour to tear down. There is a $250 fee for this (and covers additional costs such as our travel, etc). Customer to provide space, electricity, and internet where applicable. A formal quotation would be provided and a 20% non-refundable deposit is needed to secure the mobile team for your date. Pricing is tiered and uses a per booth, per hour rate. $140/hour/booth- 1-3 booth-hours (ex. 2 booths for 1 hr = $280) $125/hour/booth- 4-7 booth-hours $110/hour/booth- 8-12 booth-hours $95/hour/booth- 13-16 booth-hours $80/hour/booth- 17 booth-hours or more (ex. 3 booths for 6 hrs = $1440) Contact us if you have special circumstances or additional needs to be evaluated. We'll need to work with the onsite manager of the venue for arranging electricity, structures, etc.
